Pyramid began meeting the need for audio visual systems in 1986.
Since then, Pyramid Audio has installed systems for clients such as the Tulane University Medical Center, The Aquarium of the Americas, Audubon Educational Center, Boston’s Sheraton Hotel, Atlanta’s Buckhead, Minneapolis’ Riverfront, St. Louis Embassy Suite and New Orleans’ premier shopping mall, The Riverwalk and many many others.
One of our large scale projects, called “New Orleans Arena.” This project allowed our company the opportunity to test our skills and technology. The New Orleans Arena project, located in downtown New Orleans, required a half-a-million dollar main audio system installed and distributed systems through-out the arena, press areas, suites, locker rooms, concourses and Arena clubs. The project completed on schedule and is use 365 days per year for concerts, NBA, conventions and special events. Also, of special interest, Pyramid Audio has installed a Crown I-Q System in the Aquarium of the Americas. This control system, programmed by our company, controls an underwater audio/visual system, attended and viewed by several thousand spectators daily. The controller operates all audio systems for cassette decks, several microphones including underwater microphones and headsets. This system also controls video systems for laser decks, screens, projector, camera and controls lighting system for dimmer and DMX control of intelligent fixtures.
